with a turbo upgrade does the fuel rail and all other components have to be upgraded too and fuel switched to 91 like the SC?

These runs were done on 91 octane for all of friends on the west coast!

Check out, motivmag.com has taken some interest in the cobalt.

as per my manual i run 91 in my 2.4l lol .. and yes it makes a difference.. i get better gas mileage on 91 then 89

after watching the vid again it sounds like you got a bit of surge up at the top end on your dyno pull .. is that true or just my ears?

Yeah, there was a little bit, but we have a new ported shroud for the turbo that has fixed the problem.

ooo so it was tuned on 91? so when ur hp tuner file gets sent to the buyer we can tweak it for 93 and probably throw more timing at it without knock.....i'm guessing with some more tweaks this car can pull some more power out....u should get in touch with area47 and let him take a looksee.....

We would do the full install in-house and optimize the tune for your car for $750

might i suggest making a catback and including that .. but for not much more..

only because then it would be a full kit an all sporting mods it might make people feel justified in this over the compressor wheel upgrade

What about for someone like myself, across the world? Also, in the video were you redlining the car everytime in each gear? Why was it popping so much? Rev limit is 7k right? Thanks

I guess I am not to sure what you were asking. The rev limit was at 6700, the popping is from the rev limiter. I am going to try and get some in-car footage for everyone soon, we have just been so busy with everything, but I will do my best.

This car has come a LONG way. I remember when Synapse first purchased it, and was 100% bone stock except for the downpipe.
