Be sure to read this WHOLE thread, Tom. By the time you get to the end, you might want to have a shop do it.
Don't worry about the pics not being there on the first page. They repost them on page 5 or so. It's LSJ, but it's the same part.

yup thanks man, i believe the chain is definitly my issue, seeing as thats where the sound comes from, and the slack on the chain and that it stop for a sec sometimes like it didnt bounce up and hit the guide. already ordered from zzp, will install when it come, fun times, actually liked it, no issues, except i noticed on the intake when i installed it i made the clamp to tight and bent it. lol but i fixed that.

make sure when you get a new chain you get new cam sprocket bolts. ive re used them several times but its recommended to get new ones. 22ft/lbs + 100 degrees is the torque spec on those, 89 in/lbs is the torque spec on all the brighter silver guide bolts, 11 ft/lbs is the torque spec for all the darker colored ones.

nope not ready for that complexity yet, ill change the tentioner and see where im at. get that chain tight, cause its just to loose from everyone i talk to. i emailed a guy who has changed his, and he said the chain should be tight so it has no play, and thats what i thought and this deffinitly has play, lots. thanks for ur help
thats a lie.... it shouldnt be so tight it wont have play.but it definately shouldnt be loose. the tensioner gets tight when theres oil pressure. if the cars off theres no oil pressure. we mod the tensioner for the race cars so that when oil pressure gets low through turns we dont lose tension on the chain...
like i said yours looks looser then normal but dont expect the thing to so tight it wont have any play whatsoever.
