I'm struggling to hear it as well.

 

chain noise will ussually make a rattle, easy way to check just unplug the purge valve and see if the noise stops

 

mine sounds exactly like this now, getting her to dealer soon

 

as in that third really hush noise right? lol. Again I dont want people going to the dealer because of the DI noises.. its quiet but its there. Definately can hear it if you put your head under the hood and put your ear to it.

havent gone to the dealer yet, incredibly busy lifestyle right now. but I will soon..

 

Well, let us know. I noticed mine making the noise with the hood shut this morning when it was cold. I'm wondering if were hearing the turbo where the air is so cold and dense.

 

I have this problem was just listening tovit this morning. Also a fuel lean, PCM internal processor fault, passenger air bad light issue, driver head light, purge valve solenoid

 

i checked this out on my car after work today heard the noise when i started it cold, unplugged the purge valve and the noise is gone...

 

I had that similar issue before and later threw me a code for the purge solenoid valve. It only happens after each time I get an oil change, and later throw fuel injector cleaner on the same day, then 3 days later hello mr. error code. I erased it and never comes back since, which next time I'm dumping seafoam and see what happens.

 

whats the code read that your getting? flow during non purge cuz i had the same code ended up just replacing the purge valve

 

forgot, its been awhile, I guess next oil change, lol.

 

Found the noise. It's my purge valve solonoid lol. Noticed it when I seafoamed my car today

Happens to me when I throw fuel injector cleaner its throws out the PCV code off after 3 days later. When I hit 20K, I'm going to dump in seafoam in for the very first time.

 

i took my car to the dealer friday and got her back today. they claimed it might be the fuel pump and that it was normal, and that the car ALWAYS made that noise. which is false but goes on to say its the fuel pump because it operates under high pressure, both of them.

but doesnt explain why it hesitates...

anyway they didnt replace the fuel pump but replaced the power steering motor under recall which i didnt know lol, and the funny thing is now the car sounds fine. no more noise. weird......

 

Sorry to bring up an old tread. My car (08 ss/tc) make this sound. Not the DI or fuel pump click but that sound you can hear faintly in the video. it is more noticable in the car with the windows up. should i be concerned?
