Thumbs up Thanks Tofu!

Hey i just wanted to give a quick shout out to tofu for helping me tune my car. I had gone to a performance shop that is local to me and spent $400 to dyno tune my cobalt ss and it ran like crap and felt barely any faster than before. Anyway, i got on the forums to see if someone could help me out and he pmed me saying he could help me out with hp tuners since I owned it already. He sent me a tune to try out and all I can say is it is like a night and day difference, my car feels so much faster and smoother.

Im gonna log with hp tuners after work to see if i have any knock and what my maf /lb is, but man this thing rips hardcore now!! Anyway I just wanted to say this dude is legit and was very nice too, i would definitely recommend a tune from him if you are in texas!

I would have went back and told them to refund your money and bring your car back to the factory tune. Not only did they rip you the **** off but it sounds like they are retards as well.

i tried to complain about it but they said there was nothing wrong with my car at all, but that i needed a boost controller to gain more power. I told them boost was controlled by the ecu and they still said there was nothing they did wrong, so Im just not going to go back there or recommend that shop to anyone.

Dont worry I spent over twice that on tuning for my car only to find out that the guy who tuned my car did not know that the proper way to change the A/F at WOT is to change the PE Lambda table not to rape the MAF calibration table in order to change the A/F. Long story short commanded A/F was stock at 14.0-13.0 but actual A/F was 10.6-11.8. Car had 10-11* of knock on the street as well. I do all my own tuning now.
