I was wondering if anyone is aware of or possibly has a computer program that you could use on a laptop to monitor your parameters on a lnf comparable to a dashdaq. I think a dashdaq is a smarter way to go than getting regular gauges to monitor things like maf and a/f readings but if there is a program for a computer I would use my laptop.

Yes, it has tables charts histograms for diagnosing data as well as customizable gauge displays.
Here's my gauge & chart config.
I f I were spending your money, I get the tuning version, not just the scanner. You'll want it eventually.
Trifecta tuned I don't know how many parameters you can see. Vince used to use his own OS, ask him about it.

There are many OBDII scanner packages out there, some freeware even. You'd have to buy the interface module obviously. If you were just wanting to see the most BASIC of functions, that would do. I've even seen some basic scanning packages for iPhone lately.
The problem is if you want to see all of the advanced PID's (read: parameters) for the LNF, ... HPT is really about your best bet right now.
Kinda surprised Trifecta doesnt have a datalogging package for you guys. Heck maybe he does and I just don't know

Yeah definitely.... no it just makes sense if you have a laptop to get a program that you can run for a fraction of the cost instead of spending $400+ on gauges or $550-650 on a dashdaq. I'm looking into getting one from Palmer Performance.

Funny you say that... I asked him about this and he's looking into becoming a dealer for the Palmer Performance kits. He is talking about making the existing cable he uses for tunes to work with that.
