Question To those with Interceptor gauge(s) installed...

To those of you who have installed the AeroForce Interceptor gauge (on SS/TC), have you installed it using only the OBD2 port connector, or have you installed it with the extra 3 wire mini connector (which has the middle red wire connected to a switched 12V source and the red jumper removed)?

I'm curious to see what most people have been doing. I'm leaning towards connecting the 3 wire mini connector to use as the power source because I don't want the gauge to remain on anytime after I turn the ignition off. It seems like the only way to make the gauge operate/behave the same as the stock gauges is to do it this way. Thoughts/suggestion??

OBD 2 port . If you turn the car off and it stays on which it will do very rarely. Cycle the key and that works or just say f it like I do and let it time out after 10 minutes. The drain that little thing does in 10 minutes is nothing.

Thread revival, i have this exact same question!, dont really see a clear answer to, ppl just saying im using the OBD2 port... so, can you simply use the OBD2 port in a TC for everything? no need to run the power cords cause it will draw power from OBD2 port correct?
