Okay last night when i got off work I went home, parked the car, applied the ebrake, and went inside the apartment. The car sat still. So about a hour after laying down, I was awaken by car horns blowing left and right, do I decided since it woke me that id go get something to eat. So when I get to the parking spot I don't see my car....... Its was in the middle of the complex blocking both ways to exit and enter. I laughed so hard cause I thought my girl did this.......

So when I get back to the parking spot I applied the brake as always and cut the car off. Stood outside and noticed the car just rolling as if the ebrake was not up. I'm like wtf. Did the same when I got to work today. So is it time for me to do my brakes or can I adjust the ebrake some how?? I have to leave my car in gear which has me worried cause I have remote start on my car. Looks like ima have to leave the keypad at home so it won't accidentally get pressed and my car take off somewhere

 

your car wont start when its in gear, it has a safety thing on it so it wont take off. also its just your e-brake cable is loose, same thing happens on mine, but it holds somewhat i can hear it slowly rolling. What you do is take the console around the ebrake off, and tighten the cable. ill be doing mine this weekend

 

theres a bolt on the ebrake handle that allows you to adjust it., just have to take the plastic brick off.

 

i always put my car in gear wether im on a hill or not lol.

 

Hell my car still starts for some strange reason. I played with it in a empty lot . Turnt the car has, put it in reverse, got out and started it. It didn't really start but that **** traveled quite a bit. Is there a pic of what I should tighten? I want to do this asap. I miss using that feature lol
