where do you get your straight E from?

 

Clarksburg, WV. As I came back from ZZP I filled up a 55 gallon drum and a few 5 gallon jugs at a Sunoco station in Michigan. While I'm down here in Lexington though I'm bringing back a 5 gallon jug and a filling the tank up. I checked before I came down and Lexington, KY has a shell pump.

 

Which EFR? the 256et has a little more power up top than the 6758. Why do you say you put down more power than me? How do you even know what im making? What are you making?

Also you all have to remember i am on a manual boost controller, i have no progressive ramp its full boost or nothing. If you arent spinning at 60 your ramp is slower or you arent putting down the same power. 60 is a joke to spin the tires at, no matter what tire you have. NT05 isnt **** as far as real grip, i ran them on my and while a tad stickier than my kumhos they perform about the same as the yokohama s drives.

During the 108* heat i have decent enough traction, 40-60 still isnt happening though even with a 245. At night with cool temps it just annihilates the tires.

You need to remember that there are a lot of factors here as well like road surfaces, the fact it hasnt rained here in ages so maybe the streets are a little slicker.

 

He dynoed at like 470 something so prob around the same power. You arent going to make power like ryan salazan, he was on a larger exhaust side than ours. But on that note I was spinning today from a 60 to over 80, was more worried about where I was going rather than the speed, and was told smoke was rolling. Tires won't last long on the S256ET, lol.

 

I spin at 70 on the BNR. Any pull below that is spinsville.

Well then he should be spinning at 60 regardless of tire.

Oh and I'm running more boost than Ryan did at his 500 dyno, I know boost doesn't necessarily correlations with power but considering everything else it should be similiar. Only real difference is he runs meth and i don't trust meth.

 

You'll be spinning a whole lot more when you get your engine built!

 

Just for reference, I'm on the 5th injector with ported head and cams, I made 508 on 29psi but then again you're probably running more timing than me. My tune isn't crazy or anything, kinda mild compared to most from what I understood from Matt.

my boost doesnt come in slower lol. Im fully spooled not much longer then stock. Youre on stock trans, stock motor, and youre only using the larger fuel lobe on full e. Any dyno sheets? I know what i made and id venture to say youre around 450. NT05 isnt ****? They are some of the stickest non radials you can get. A lot of the guys at zzp were impressed with them. Its plenty dry here too. I just dont get how you think you need to do supra rolls when youre using a turbo plenty others have had before you. You shouldnt be "blowing up" the tires at your power level from 60.

Gates if youre on your low boost setting it would probably be a good run. Full boost... well thats all that needs to be said

Yes, NT05 isnt **** as far as real tire. No street tires are that sticky when compared to a slick. thats all i mean. Nothing more nothing less. There are plenty other street tires that provide good grip as well, Pilot Sport Cups, Toyo R888, etc (the NT05 isnt the only thing around).

Well i am blowing up the tires so w/e you want to think. No the motor isnt built but it doesnt mean i dont have plans on blowing this stock bottom end up either. A built motor isnt adding more power magically. I will have the tranny here soon, your point being? Dont see how that transmission is going to help traction either.
