Tips for n2Mb WOT box install

Hello there

Looking for some good tips for you guys that have installed the n2Mb WOT box on the LNF cars or LSJ if all is the same for this

Pics would be great if you have any

I would like to keep it as clean of a install as possible and completely reverseable if i decide to take it out

Is the NLS safer to use on this unit than the stock unit or is it still a risk after blowing my 3rd gear to **** with the stocker?

Thanks

just follow the directions perfectly and you'll be good. the nls on the box and on the lnf does the same thing, except this one is adjustable. don't listen to whatever paintballer said. he is a true idiot, hence the reason i have him on my ignore list. P.S. N2MB is the best thing i have ever purchased for my balt.

It's not needed on this car IMO. I did make an install thread if you wanna see where to connect the wires tho.

Thanks Nick i will have to take a look for it

I want it to be able to control my launches at the track with my slicks

Stock Launch control is brutal when tuned and running slicks

NLS performs exact same as stock function?

I haven't had an issue with the stock NLS at any RPM over 6k, I do shift quickly tho and can do it on my Subaru without any special setup lol.

I believe Cmiller was using the stock LC setting still (5k or 5500) with the slicks on his car and launching well.

Yep. I love leaving it in comp mode with the snake held for burnouts. Just sits at 5000, no banging off the rev limit.

I say yes for the fact of adjusting the launch rpm, as well as building boost.

When you are dragging and also doing your burnouts what settings are you using for the Comp Mode?

Just ESC OFF? In Comp Mode etc......

The stock NLS and the WOT box do the same thing.

They just cut spark during shifts to keep the engine under load so it doesn't loose boost.

That being said, being able to make 10-15psi off the 2-step on the launch and holding 20-22psi through your shifts will make a huge improvement in times.

That is if the internal parts of your trans don't become external parts

But, lets get it installed, no point of building a fast drag car if you have to drive it like its made of glass.

If other people arn't blowing up transmissions using the NLS you should be fine, esspecailly considering you have that fancy trans.

You won't be able to make that much boost unfortunately. But it does load it up and get it ready to launch, so much that I couldn't hold it with the DR's. He's running slicks tho, so should be good for him!

I use it all the time on the LSJ as well.

If anything, it's worth it for the funny noises and fireballs it makes running E85.

On the LNF's, it's not nearly as cool sounding. Its very tame in fact.

Weird, I just helped my buddy install one on his SRT-4 and it makes 12-14psi off the 2-step with it set @ 4000rpm.

Either way, some boost is better than no boost on the launch.

at 5500 rpms it only builds about 8 lbs. Which is still enough considering what the factory does.

When doing the burnout I leave it in comp mode and pull the ebrake rev it up in second and release clutch, holding pedal to floor it will stay at 5000 rpm's and about 50 mph making for a nice burnout and no banging off the rev limiter which I hate doing.

Pretty much what I do, side step the clutch with WOT Box @ 5k in 2nd gear.

My only downside is I am open diff, and the burn out usually ends up as a one wheel peel.

This isn't a SRT4 lol.. On my Subaru I can get it to boost about 12psi at the line with some tweaking in the load areas it hits on the LC. This car I couldn't get AS much but still did better then the 3-4psi I started with.
