The only reason to EVER rev that high is for a big turbo where the power band is higher up, or so that you don't have to shift at the end of the 1/4 mile. Otherwise your just putting unnecessary stress on the motor. These cars run out of power early.

I see what your saying but I feel the car still pull all the way till 7,000. Not to mention the gm stage 1 increases the 6,500 so what's another 500.

Why is this? I searched "rubbing right turns" and got a bajillion results that had nothing to do with this. Just curious because it has happened a few times to me. The hubs and endlinks are good. It has only happened three times. All three times were full right turns at about 10-15 mph. Can't find any fender well rubbing marks or marks on the tire but maybe that's because it doesn't happen very often and didn't rub for very long or very hard.

Thanks.

Only race backwards 0-25mph races. See how big blocks like having the powered wheels at the fronts.

Boost by gear/rpm is nice. Don't know if you guys have something like that. I use the N2MB Boost Box.

I have re-11's and roast them to 7k in 2nd. 3rd always hooks though, even brake boosting.

I shift at 7k allll the time.

7200rpm shifter on stock motor here too

BTW stick with 235, they have better traction on your stock wheel then a 245 will have, troofff
