treadstone lower intercooler pipe.....pissed
1. Don't give you necessary screws with coldside pipe or even an indication that you need to purchase them.
2. Have to buy the 90-degree elbows with the IC, and they don't give you any indication that you need to buy them when you order for a Cobalt.
3. Don't tell you the MAP sensor install orientation.
4. Advertise a direct fit but brackets must be bent (reminds me of Talliaferro)
5. Will not answer e-mails.
There's one more that I've heard recently, so I'm going to find it and start making a list.

If you buy the I/C Beta Kit, it comes with the elbows. Just no instructions which is important bc the mounting points are different for the TR8 vs TR10 (probably the TR12 too). Let alone you HAVE to bend the brackets no matter what he tells you over the phone...

All it takes is a phone call. Mine came with the right bolts. They give you new ones. you have to take out the brass bushings in the MAP sensor. Treadstone is a call away. They always pick up. If this is the first time you have ever experienced s company mis-packaging something then you are very fortunate to have come this far without experiencing that. If you would have called and told them, they would have sent you out the new bolts if they did not properly package them.
And with any amount of modifications like intercoolers and such, you have to understand that there is the prospect of some 'customizing' or 'fine tuning' with a bigger hammer.
On a side note... every once in a while there are issues with pretty much every company. ZZP, HAHN and now Treadstone (the 3 biggest performance companies from our platform) have all been accused of poor customer service due to isolated incidents. If everyone took one or 2 people's complaints as gospel we wouldn't have anywhere to shop.

Didn't have a SINGLE problem dealing with K&N. Came packaged very well with CLEAR instructions and all bolts, nuts, brackets and screws. Did have a fitment oddity but wasn't an actual problem so nothing there.
And that was a $200 mod. I spent $400+ at Treadstone. Dont make excuses for companies. They need to be held accountable, it's how we get better product and service in the long run.

We are very sorry for any miss packaging issues, mistakes do happen, but we always fix our mistakes and expedite shipping when needed.
for the lower intercooler pipe, we usually include the screws for the sensor, i think i personally grabbed that pipe and forgot to put the 2 m6 bolts in, again i do apologize for this.
for the silicone coupler, we will now make a note on our page that a 2.75" to 2.5" coupler for the throttle body connection will be needed.

Much better attitude than hahn i must say.
I actually kinda wondered if they could start making it so we could mount the sensor parallel in stead of perpendicular? Does the sensor not work parallel?
Edit: I mean In-Line. Not parallel.

Id like to have some more details on this...i wasn't aware of this. is this for a maf relocate??
cuz there is an arrow on the sensor showing you which way the air flow is. do we still follow that arrow?

I wasn't making excuses, I just am stating an obvious point. **** happens dude. No matter how much money is spent on something there is a chance, however small, that something is not right. I'm glad you are perfect dude. Not many people are. Perhaps you should start your own business. I would buy from you if it was perfect every time.
Calm the F**K down homie. I ran my own business for 3 years and made mistakes. I took people's suggestions and improved. Looks like that's what Treadstone is gonna try too.
Dude, I am calm. I'm just saying that mistakes happen and the OP needs to go about the proper channels to rectify the situation. Like give them a call. I have had a bunch of issues with other places. I had Summit Racing send me 2 different brake rotors, one for my 2500 and one for a random 1500 suburban. After 1 call they fixed it no problem. People get too heated when installing parts. If you cant have a little patience and the proper tools you can have shops install things.
