personally not a fan of at-cost sponsorships, but if you guys can find someone local and establish a good relationship, you could use their car repeatedly for marketing benefits. The best route Ive seen has been to drop the price tag alltogether in exchange for written agreement to attend shows (x,y,z) and not mess with the equipment being given. Company also retains right to request parts given be returned upon breach of contract. This ensures a more formal business relationship, helps the business with legitimate exposure, and produces a feel-good view of future products. Just an idea.

3" 304 stainless steel catback systems with no muffler are $400
3" Aluminized steel catback systems with no muffler are $325

adding a 14" stainless resonator will add $85 to the price.

we have heard some great exhaust notes by using a resonator instead of a muffler, its not to loud where its nasty sounding, yet it flows like a straight through pipe with no muffler.
The resonator no muffler combo is a growing trend because it gets rid of the raspy sound while maintaining a very high flow with little restriction!

I'm sure this setup sounds killer without the resonator! I'd definitely be curious to hear a few sound clips though
Dont forget the turbo acts as a muffler on our cars that one reason why the sound so different straight piped FTW

lol.. yes I'm very aware of this. I was only making the point to the few that might have been concerned that our cars aren't raspy like the lsj would be with straight pipe.

If your in a climate where it snows, definitely go with the stainless. If not, the aluminized holds up pretty well against rust from the rain, but not salt and snow.

I'm one of those waiting for the #&*(% sound clip! I'm in the process of buying myself all my own Christmas presents - and I could deal with a little throaty, but nothing to call me out. I can't pull the trigger here without sound.

I have some clips on another thread but here are my two I put up on youtube... Its a stage 3 treadstone kit with no muffler, resonator, or cats. It sounds like a 24 valve cummins diesel at low rpms, and kind of like satan at high rpms... It's beautiful, enjoy.

What did you end up running in the dyno? What other supporting mods do you have?

I'm installing my turbo upgrade kit with the pte 55/57 from Autowerks in a couple of weeks, and I need to buy an exhaust. Is this recommended for such a turbo, or it is more indicated for stock turbo?

Haha no I was going to turn around for another pass at wot in 2nd gear. That was until is saw her rolling up all crazy. I recognized her because she gave me a few noise violation tickets on my buell X1 back in the day. I figured the same thing was coming again but she didn't recognize me thank God.
