I was loading an update for 3 bar map sensors and the program loaded to the end, then said file failed. I started it loading again then I remembered for some reason I need to load in the "low speed only" setting on the Trifecta ,so I (stupidly) clicked off the program to load in low speed. Well, now the cable will not communicate with the PCM. I tried many times, at the time I thought if I ran into any trouble I could load the stock file the load the 3 bar. Not the case. I presently have my PCM harness unhooked, dont know if that will do anything, but sure couldnt hurt now. Im afraid I may need a new PCM. Has anyone ever had anything like this happen, and is there a fix? I also have HP tunes, not sure if a stock file can be loaded from that to put me back to square 1?

 

I would contact vince, he might want the ezflash file

I had my laptop loose power in the middle of a upload once, but it hooked back up and uploaded fine. u gotta do a full reflash if u do that most of the time I think, but I guess first u gotta get past the it not hooking up. try with the ecu reset cause u removed power and see if it works

 

i have never got the low speed flash to work right, especially trying to change launch rpm. I have also had it fail while doing the full meal deal, and have never figured out why it wont accept certain %'s of rpm. I have always been able to make it work by changing certain parameters though. If you cant get ahold of Vince i would try to run it again without the change you were trying to make, and see if it responds. Sometimes i would get the message that it wouldn't connect, and i would change the process a bit before running it- instead of hooking the cable to the laptop before turning the ignition on, i would do it after. Good luck, i hate being a someone else's mercy on stuff like that, especially if you need to drive the car.
