Trifecta Problem????

My car under full throttle sputters and backfires a lot... rpms dont rise, instead it goes up and down... boost stays full... did not look at the a/f ratio. but im thinking its dumping too much fuel.

while back i had an injen intake, and it would do it, i datalogged it, it went away. then finally after about 10 logs, it came back again...

now with full bolt ons with turbo XS. it was running perfect... for months now its been running great! then couple weeks ago, trifecta sent me their last tune. i put it on. and i never had a chance to go WOT...

last night i did a couple pulls against my friends supercharged e46 m3... and he raped me...
i ran my friends N/A e92 m3. same thing. raped me... <--- a car which i have pulled on in the past with a previous tune

and the whole time im racing them... engine revs up, once it hits about 4600, car jerks around, backfires, ppl tell me their is a **** load of smoke coming from my car. my friend said it looked like a diesel. while i went WOT, something popped up on my dash saying ENGINE PWR REDUCED. but i still have full boost...

im honestly not too satisfied with trifecta...

And the people
Said u have black smoke, alot coming out. Some people say the trifecta tune also tunes rich, just to keep everything safe but sometimes it's to much.

Come out to Charleston or head up to BYT or something. I could get you a remote HP Tune from any one of the tuners on the forums if you just talk to em. Prob wouldn't cost much either, just the credits to me and whatever they charge to make you up a tune. Also try cleaning your mass air flow sensor before you try getting a HP Tune. Mine will do that in 1st whenever its dirty. My trifecta tune was incredibly rich though, I can tell you that I swapped between my trifecta ecm and my HP Tuned ecm and my AFR went from 12.2 to 12.9

my supercharged mustang sounded the same, but that was a misfiring problem. and the sound came from the engine bay instead of the exhaust... im just giving a comparison if anyone has heard a car missing.

my balt is not misfiring... at least i dont think.. lol

That's only part of your problem. I am noticing some of the same issues with my car when it is cold outside... like less than 40*F or so. Could also be winter blended fuel.

I had my car tuned by him. Plus, anybody that got custom tuned by him is very happy about it. There is a long feedback about his work, and it's all positive. At least you play safe. There are for sure other good tuners, but just I barely hear of them.

could be a boost leak or something. you think your Bypass valve is stuck open at some point? maybe something wrong with your fuel pump?. if you're boosting that PSI and going no where that is odd..

i know i got a boost leak. i can hear it. hahahaha

but i have no idea where its coming from. all clamps solid. everything good... the only thing i can think of is the sensor on the lower charge pipe. my friend attached that one for me while i was attaching the throttle body side of it.

If u have a boost leak fix it. Then Ure issue will leave. Ure system is running off a calibration set into the ecm. If a leak is present it changes all this . Also get a custom hptune from any reputable Tuner.

Should I get MSR Wheels

Or a Xbox 360 rechargeable battery pack?

We're already off topic, figured I'd add my left field
