My 2010 SS has 11500 miles on it with Trifecta tune and catted dp with drop in filter. Been tuned for about 3 months. Do you guys think that is enough power to make my clutch slip. I know not to floor it in low rpms in 4th and 5th when tuned. I'm worried that the stock clutch isn't going to last very long with this tune and I plan on putting on K&N SRI and injen charge pipes. Let me know what you think.

 

Your clutch will be fine.

 

Look up everyone elses experiences. If your scared of breaking something or wearing something out then dont mod your car and dont rip on it. simple as that.

 

Look at my mods and ive had a trifecta tune on my car for about 9k miles with no issues and i rip on it a few times a day

 

when i put the turbo xs CAI on, i realized i am able to spool quicker then the injen cai. i put a video up of going WOT in 4th, at 1200rpms, before i hit 2000rpms i was already spooling 15psi, and i didnt brake boost or anything.

clutch was fine..... i dont do it much, and i would never do that in 5th, but im just saying brah...

our stock clutch's are amazing.

 

I bought my car new, and tuned it with a 22psi Trifecta tune at 3k miles. My clutch lasted till about 30k miles with moderate tune use.
