Tune and Methanol Injection
ok wise ass, since you're so smart explain to me how you only lost 8 HP through the drivetrain. It's obvious the dyno at SMG is more realistic
people like the ones we're dealing with are the reason why i don't come on here that often anymore. You offer what you have done to try give other people more info on our cars and people like this guy just flame on you and tell you that he can do better.
yup, theres some winners out there, giving dyno advice when he isnt using the correct "correcting" factors himself
YOU have not been here long enough to state who is a better tuner or not. YOU have not been in this game long enough to come anywhere near making that statement.
you apparently know way more than i do about this, so tell me.

wise ass? watch your tongue junior. just because you're a nut swinger for this shop doesn't mean their word is gospel. bring your car down to my shop and stick it on the dyno. you numbers will be no where near close to what you did on that dyno. congrats on falling into the dyno numbers are the voice of god category.
i AM a better tuner. numbers mean dick. you are driven by them.

what is the correct way of doing it them Mr know it all?

Wow. Did I just read that right Bryan? Some of you idiots need to STFU and learn from someone with experience and knowledge.
You haven't even been here a year. Don't come here often anymore. GTFO.

You still haven't explain to me how a stock LNF with a computer that will limit engine horsepower to a maximum of 260 is able to put 252 of them to the ground. If you can explain this to me then maybe I won't think you're full of **** any more.
It's all in the tables, but Bryan can give you a much better explanation than I can. He's also not full of **** BTW.
Ok. I'm TRYING not to be an ******* about this whole thing, maybe I'm not doing a good job but just know I'm trying to be open-minded. I'd love to know how two similar cars with the same engine that are less than 1 year old each can have a 22 HP difference in their baseline numbers if both dynos are equal. And I'm not even talking about tuned numbers yet untill we can establish we started on even playing fields.

one of the many ss/t's i have done.

box stock down to the paper filter.
hows that work for your theory sunshine?
wanna see what i do with just a tune?

Look all dynos are different. Just because your numbers are lower doesn't make them better or more accurate and vise versa. My car dyno'd at 242hp/tq, if I took it to your dyno it would most likely run close to what your car ran. Dyno numbers are good to measure baseline numbers and to follow your progress with you modifications. The gains that you got are pretty good. There is no way to tell what the true numbers are that is the best you can really do. It is also said that GM has had a habit through out its life of under rating its cars. I bet if you took an SS/SC car to that dyno it would at least run 205hp. Ether way good numbers over stock with your numbers.
congrats on avoiding the question again. Now explain to me how on your dyno you only loose 2% of engine horsepower through the drivetrain. I'm not doubting the fact that your dyno says it made 252 horsepower i just don't think it's realistic.
I like this guy. He realizes the big picture.

If you can create a 98% efficent front wheel drive transmission you will be a millionaire. I'm not saying the car didn't make that much horsepower on the dyno I'm just saying it's not realistic to what the car is actually putting to the ground.
well at the least you kept me entertained untill dinner time and thank you for that. Dyno numbers are just that, numbers. The only real numbers that matter are the ones on timeslips and untill I have one of them in my hand I have nothing else to argue. Thanks again for playing along and keeping me entertained. If it helps you sleep tonight we can say you won cus I really never cared. I'm happy with my tune and noticed good gains over my baseline, IMO that's all that matters.

WHY
ARE
YOU
SO
DRIVEN
BY
NUMBERS
????????????????
you picked up power. that is the whole point being using a dyno. not comparing dick size.

It seems like 50 whp and 90 wtq is quite reasonable gains from a tune and meth. I think it gained 15 HP from the meth after the tune.
I would be perfectly satisfied from numbers like that.
Let's see that beast up at NED and you should come out to the streets sometime.

ill agree with you 100% here, i think my argument got taken the wrong way, ive never been all about dyno numbers, ive been about having accurate ones to reference by, but they dont mean sqwat when your on the road. if you lose, you lose nobody pulls out there dyno sheet and says well technically this and that
