oh god here

a CAI, CP, DP, and Exhaust will not affect the tune if you get the tune first.

the only time you will worry about the tune is after a meth kit or when the stage 2 starts coming.

honestly. do a tune. you can gain mass amounts of hp and tq for little money.

ive asked these questions to my tuner friends and they allll say the same thing.

go through trifecta or psykotune

IMO do a psykotune

You can put all of these mods on the car before the tune, but you will not gain any power. It will learn down, but it will still sound badass. The mods will NOT "hurt" your car in any way, but if you get a catless DP, you might throw a code (depending on who makes it).

Sooo, what exactly are you looking at now: sound, or performance?

thats not true tho,

a DP and exhaust, CAI, and CP. you will feel a difference.

but def a bigger difference with a tune

performance...and i no about the learn down feature thattss why i wanted the tune first i just dont want to have to get it retuned after i do charge piping and DP. i was told that a CAI would affect the tune so i put that on first...

Maybe I can rephrase this question slightly. I know with inhouse tuning it makes more sense to have all your parts on prior to the tune, that way you can tune all the parts for maximum performance. But if you get a canned tuned or the stage kit would it be beneficial to get it completely modded before hand? I would take it that canned/stage tunes are just reflashes of the same thing no matter what you do before or after the tune, right?

I don't think anyone had a canned tune offered, but the best way to do it is. Install your parts then tune. Then retune after if you get additional parts after that.

Hahns PPC is canned, and the stage kit would be considered canned. And lets say you want to keep warranty and use the late stage kit and not retune. Would it be best to have all parts installed prior to get the ecu flashed, or would it really matter if you added them later? Performance wise, would you get the same hp/tq rating if you added them after the kit, or before?
