turbo flutter and higher boost spikes

i recently got tuned with trifecta not realizing i said i had gms1 sensors which i dont and i think it caused me some problems. for the past day ive been trying to flash to stock and it seemed like it wasnt flashing i had a few codes P0036 and P2227 today i managed to get it to do a force full flash it made the car drive a bit normal.

at this moment i didnt drive much so there is no cels but i currently have loud turbo flutter and my car is boost spiking around 120-125kpa i think 100kpa is stock?

if anyone has any suggestions on what i could try and do it would be great

wot support says vince is going to write me a tune without gms1 sensors i hope its today and i hope it fixes everything

Tell vince you have the gms1 sensors otherwise that p2227 code will pop up.

Measures barometric (atmospheric) pressure......it's intergrated to the ecm. It measures open atmosphere.....not manifold/boost pressure.

I have the exact same problem.

I had trifecta dual tune 24 psi put on 2 years ago and was working fine.

then i had stock tune put back on last autumn and the p2227 + flutter started the next day.

i lived with that for the winter and last week I put my trifecta tune back on the car. the flutter and p2227 went away the first time I took the car after the tune but came back right the second time i started the car.

i bought the car used so i'm not sure if i have the gms1 but the guy told me he had put a tune not sure if it was GMS1.

anyone have a clue of what could be the problem ? i'm almost sure it's related to a tune or a setting because it went away just after i put my trifecta back last week but came back right after.

thank you !

did you get the car from GM dealership? if so - the tech who serviced the car before the car went on the used car lot, it's possible he reflashed with the GMS1 tune.. with the tech thinking there was a GMS1 flash that came originally with the car..

also I would send Vince@trifecta an email of a copy of your log file with a description of the problems your having that you've encountered up to now..

i got the car reflashed with the trifecta for GMS1 and same thing happened. Everything was working great the first run then when I got back from work like 4 hours after the flutter sound was back and soon after the check engine P2227 also.

In cases where you weren't having an issue, then started having one after a tune, I'd say to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and try again or reload the tune.

I found that my tune was setup for gms1 when I dont' have gms1. After I got the file without gms1 I've had no problems.

Do you register boost when you rev it up in neutral?

Your TMAP sensor is bad, or the wiring for it is shorting.
