Turbo question... Noob

Bullseye - Bullseye Turbos #

Option 1 extended tip, assuming its pertaining to the wheel, can someone explain what this defines? And how it effects?

Option 3, what does this pertain to? What option do I need?

And other than intercooler and retune, anything else required for install?

I should know this, but this would be my first turbo upgrade/install on anything. Also, this is a "256" what would the stock be in comparison? 252? Im looking for 400whp, I autocross my car so boost lag is what I am trying to avoid. Even at 380 I would be okay.. Just looking for more power, im boosting 21lbs on stock turbo right now.

Thanks for any info.

You cannot just swap in a new turbo for this car. You need this ZZPerformance - LNF Turbo upgrade #

OR wait for the EFR(direct swap) or other options people are working on. BNR or a K04+ would be the least involved at this point

If your AutoXing, 400whp on a FWD car isn't gonna help. I'm GMS1 and I was having problems with traction. Granted I'm on street tires. There's PLENTY of power even stock. IMO, focus on suspension and tires.

ZZPs 4.45 transmission made the big difference for me in Autocross.

My goal isnt to have a car just for autox, I already have coilovers and tires, so this isnt a direct swap? What I'm trying to avoid is buying what I dont need, larger ic, charge pipes,

Get the a sway bar for the rear and endlinks for the front. Makes a huge difference on top of the pedders coil overs. I'm at 0 camber and the thing handles like a dream with my kdw2s.

Also are you running meth yet? You can increase boost and timing and get a good increase in power by running on meth or e-85. I know I have serious problem with traction in 2nd and 3rd. 1st is boost limited aggresively. And I just have a reasonable hp tune.

I'm looking at doing the same thing. I'm tuned on E30 and it made a pretty big difference! I want to get a turbo with out changing anything but the turbo. Also I'm looking for around 400 HP...have you checked out bnr's big wheel turbo? I'm waiting for zzp's and also hahn said they are working on a direct bolt on efr. Bnr said theirs is rated to flow 360 HP, but add some meth or ethanol I'd imagine with a good tune 400 HP wouldent be too far away.
