SS/TC's don't need a turbo timer. It's a waste of money for our cars.

If you want to spend money on something you MIGHT get a benefit out of, get a catch can.

Again, turbo timers are not needed for our cars. If you absolutely wanted one, it wouldn't hurt anything but I say spend your money on something else.

Turbo is water cooled so there's no need for cool down.

if you're worried, just stay out of boost the last 5mins of your drive. maybe let it idle for 30 seconds before you get out etc.

Yeah, the quick idle session before you turn it off is plenty and that's probably only when you've reall gotten on it.

I was wondering about this too. Since it didn't say anything in the manual.

Our Turbo is water cooled? now that I dint know. Whats the point in having an Intercooler then when you can just setup a direct injection of N20 to the Turbo!!? lol dreaming on the wrong side of the Bed!! lol

well the turbo uses thermal energy and then the fact that the air is going to get hot anyway when it is compressed. id persoanlly just rather inject the nitrous thru the ac vents into the cabin and laugh my ass off at everything i see

Because intercoolers arent for cooling the turbo they're for cooling the air before it reaches the intake manifold.

Water and oil cooled turbos don't need them typically. Even on only oil cooled turbos, unless they are running way out of their efficiency range (very hot) you shouldn't really need a turbo timer. Baking modern synthetic oil is very hard to do.

That's hardly from not having a turbo timer. What exactly happened to the turbo?
