turbo upgrade packages???
turbo upgrade packages???
i know that synapse turbo offers one but is that the only complete kit out so far??? i also believe that bald turbo freak had one in the works?? any info +prices would be very helpful...thanks in advance..
personally im not to impressed with the numbers you see from the synapse kit.... its almost like you could hit that with a complete set of bolt ons and a good tune. it hink dejon tool has a 16g and a couple other upgrades. check out their website.
That was at 26 psi too. 16G is a waste of time IMHO. I told you the stocker actually has more potential with good tuning. I beleve I will be nearly 350 whp at 21.5-22psi with a better intercooler. I was getting some heatsoak related timing retard on the dyno last time. I am still making almost 330 whp at 6800 rpms currently
T2 is sacrifising tq for more hp...........26 psi on stock turbo...... you must have the dejon MAP sensor upgrade or you'll get limp and low boost.. you must also have a turbine wheel upgrade to be at 338 whp on a stock turbo with 22 psi....... Why? because I have talked to the engineers behind the LNF and they say the stock turbo is good for about 325whp, anytrhing above that and turbo life will be reduced by 65%
btf racing has a turbo upgrade.
1)Gt3076R
1)Tial SS housing modified for KO4 flange/VB44
1)oil feed line with restrictor for BB.
1)VB44 wastegate
1)mild steel dump pipe
1)Tial to Ko4 downpipe adapter (304L stainless) using proper Tial flange and V-band (again $$) It bears load so it must fit correctly.
1)6mm drill bit to enlarge oil drain bolt holes.
thats the short kit
all that for 2400
you can upgrade that to a GT3582R W/ported shroud for an additional 250

Original heat shield fits. It re-uses the cast downpipe elbow, modifies and re-uses the intake for a nice sleeper look. It also means that no MAF transfer changes are nessicary, it will run fine even without tuning. Allowing you to safely drive it to your favorite local tuner to have it tweaked in for your car. It re-uses the coolant lines, oil drain, and hardware. They just need a little hand tweaking. The rear motor mount heat shield needs some bending to fit the rotated position of the down pipe.
all that starts at 2600
Bov: 50mm (+$225.00)Q (+$245.00)
GT3582R W/ported shroud: Lets rock! (+$250.00)
Swaintech White lightnin': Housing & adapter (+$195.00)

if you want a larger turbo use something like the hahn s20g kit, should work on your car, the manifold, dp, and turbo should all bolt up same as the feed, and just work the initial piping to work with your current charge and intake piping, not to hard to to do if you have time and patience, and thus u now have a 400+capable turbo
or you can buy the vulcan t3/to4e set up, run that turbo, with their dp, and a tial wastegate, the biggest thing is the KIT that is released will require perfect tuning, and the biggest restriction is the direct injection

i have dejons 5457 turbo swap and we were have problems with going past 5200rpm and our best pull of the day was 375wph 391fwtq(thats only going to 5200). later on that day pyskosteve and i did some street tuning and now we can rev up to 6700rpms no prob so wed were going back to the dyno to see what kindve numbers she puts down now.

Nope. You are wrong. Most of the credit goes to my bolt ons because not many changes were made to my tune after I put my DP, CP, I, E on. Flows really well all the way to my 6800 rpms rev limit. I dont beat on my car much anyway so I am not worried.
