Turkey Gobble after ZFR install - Please help

ZZP upper and lower charge pipes, zzp intercooler, GMS1 sensors

Just installed zfr and get a turkey gobble on all shifts with any boost applied at all.

Done some research and some say its suppose to be that way.

I do have the vac tank deleted for help with cold starts, should I hook this back up?

Tomj77 wrote "remove the solenoid completely from the picture. the reason its there is to help with overboost or under boost situations, so the ecu can open or shut the bpv, the way its set up wont let it work, the bottom of the solenoid should only see vacuum so ud need a check valve on it. that's also another thing I noticed helps to remove flutter. the way it is now is pointless so just unplug the bottom hose and the one leasing to the bpv and take the bottom hose off the tee and just plug in the one going to the bpv. then run a hose from the bottom of the solenoid the the side where the bpv hose was connected to close it up so u don't have a boost leak from the hose connected to the charge pipe"

And also he suggested "take apart the bpv, grease it up good after cleaning. Then take the lid with the vacuum nipple on it, take a drill bit that's slightly bigger than the hole, cause that hole is small compared to other bpv / bpv. Carefully , and I mean carefully, drill the inside hole on the inside of the lid bigger, then drill the nipple hole bigger. Watch on the inside so u get in there all the way"

Are these the main ways to resolve the issue? If so could you please elaborate further Tomj77?

Also, do I need to have the bpv adjusted in the tune?

Thank you guys ahead of time for any help on this.

Is this the stock BPV? What spring are you running in it? I found one thread where they said the spring was too strong.

I think you are on the right track with the BPV being the issue.

Clutch is brand new so I have not WOT yet. But I did about 75% throttle and I do believe it still makes the sound but not as bad.

So tuning, greesseing bpv, connect vacuum tank wont make the gobble go away?

Basically it shouldn't make the noise while you are accelerating. Flutter while boosting is bad. If it only happens when you let off, you are fine. Enjoy the noises.

Got it, thanks guys.

Honestly, I actually like the gobble sound.

Could you please explain exactly why it makes this sound? So I know what to tell people when they ask.

You installed a turkey call under your hood to let you know you hit boost. That simple, say it with a straight face and continue on

Of its low gobble, bpv isn't opening , if its mid to high pitch, normal, deal with it
