TWM Cable Clamp

Im having issues with my stock cable clamp popping off my shifter when shifter from 3rd to 4th under heavy acceleration and was wondering if the TWM cable clamp will help fix this problem as i know its actually held in with a clamp and not just pushed in

It GREATLY helps, main issue we had was the clamp popping off on 2-3 shifts, but our aluminum clamp fixed the problem completely . With our shifter or with just the OEM shifter, it's a great upgrade for peace of mind.

If you need anything at all, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'll let some of our cable clamp users jump in and give their opinion!

^^^ This. I've been running one in my car after I popped off/broke two linkage pieces by no-lift shifting 2-3. Installed the TWM short throw and cable clamp and haven't had any issues since. It's been about 35k miles.

If you're bending the cables, it means your clamp is holding, so no.

What does it feel like when you damage a clamp. My stock shifter feels pretty rough going from 1st to second.

^^ Correct. If you are bending the cables, you're shifting too hard. Ease up on the hulk shifts my man

I have the clamp and love it, mine was popping out going into 3rd and now its perfect and it helps align you shifter better.

Well the issue people have been having, myself included, is the clamp breaking and/or popping off of the shifter itself or the shift cable. This usually occurs when shifting from 2-3. If your car shifts ok and the factory plastic clamp is still secured to the shifter and shift cable (pop out your center/e-brake trim pieces and cup holder so you can visually inspect it) then you're fine.

I'd like to give one a home. Perhaps since they're cold and lonely and are currently inventory (one of the 7 deadly wastes) perhaps a special deal can be made?

Someone needs to make a clap for the other cable. I've broken one trying to get it unclamped for adjustment. They are kind of fragile. I've seen other posts here about them having been broken.
