twm short throw problem

Recently purchased a short throw shifter with the cable clamp and I'm having a problem getting 5th gear to engage properly. I measured out the distance that was given in the insturction manual, but 5th gear is still giving me problems. Does anyone have information regarding this issue?

Alright so i read the end of the directions and i was able to get 5thin gear to work but now im having trouble with reverse. I cant seem to find a spot that will allow the metal reverse piece on the shifter to clear the plastic piece on the housing this is so frustrating to be so close lol

I was able to get it into reverse but it kind of carves out the plastic piece. I cant not move the cable clamp back any further to adjust the right and left

This is what I did, if u bought the metal cable clamp from twm, push the cable all the way in until it bottom outs. Tighten it down all the way. Then adjust the other cable clamp for left and right. Leave it loose and goes into fifth and reverse, just measure that and snap it in. Reverse is a lil sketchy until tax lil bit of plastic wears down. Mine is smooth now.
