I wanna know what modification was done to the stock oil pan..

 

Stamina posted pics of his engine torn down. The stock pan is baffled. Probably good enough for most of us.

I know it survived green hell, but we don't know if GM ran an oil pressure gauge. They didn't on earlier Z06 and those oil starve even with the dry sump ( reservoir is too small ). They fixed it hy adding a new reservoir.

Maven, when are you heading to VIR?

 

Ya ive heard the stock one is baffled, which is great for anyone doing the weekend race warrior thing. But I just want more info on this modification...I find it intriguing.
