only thing why im not going zzp is log manifold. its a lazy way out and robs spool time abd i dont overly care for the looks of them. I think zzp should build a tubular manifold. Now treadstone's new manifold looks sexy

Paintballer not to talk **** but you post alot about upgrades I think its funny. ZZP has a good kit right now, I was going to get theirs. The Treadstone kit, the one I'll be going with, isn't done yet but it will be soon. The manifold they are working on is a sexy little cast piece. It is going to be a great platform to put a a beastly turbo on plus their intercoolers come in two sizes. It seems as though treadstone is fairly expensive but they also have quite a few turbos to pick from as well. I would wait for a bit. Just hang out and wait. The worst that could happen is you have a little extra money when you are ready. Plus they have experience with alot of other turbo charged cars.

Well two things. They have a cast manifold coming out. And Spooling a turbo fully by 3k doesn't seem to me like a loss of spool time at all. :P

Besides the manifold is in the back where like no one can see it ya know.

I haven't seen treadstone's but I'm sure it will be well made and give the ss/tc community a much better selection.

Bigger turbos aren't always better either. Spool times and usability of your hp is a huge thing as well.

But to the OP if you aren't sure, I also agree, wait it out, do your research, and simply take your time to make the right decision for what you want in the department of power, looks, sound, etc. Its your car and you have to enjoy driving it, never buy a piece you will regret!

The treadstone kits are on their website. You ca search around a bit and check. The manifold is on there. Research alot and make sure you have an EXACT idea of what you will be using the car for. IE- Don't build a drag strip only car for a daily driver. Stay with a medium sized turbo. The engine doesn't flow enough volume for too big of a turbo.
