tranny fluid?

hey guys! well i had tried searching for a thread that had some kind of info about what kind of better tranny we can put in ours, but only thing i found was one on the ss/sc which yes i know same tranny for the most part. and they still were not 100% on what kind you can use...
So my question, im looking to get royal purple as the tranny fluid. i had it on my ls and it made a huge difference and would love to buy it for the ss/tc, but i dont know what kind i need to get... What grade do i need? and where could this be purchased at? thanks guys!

No Royal Purple sorry, You need a GL-4 fluid as our diff is sealed & no LSD additives whether you have LSD or not.

GM Fluid for the LNF is Castrol Syntrans 75w-85. GL-4. I'm trying the new Red Line MT-85 which meets the same specs. It drives the same as the LNF fluid so far. There is a thread on the fluids here....
