Use Seafoam to De-Carbon intake valves
If you don't already know. You seriously need to de-carbon your intake valves on DI engine. I have 30,000 miles, used half a can of Seafoam = TONS of smoke. I was getting rough start up idles and back fires. Googled problem and found out about Audi's and BMW with DI engines failing because of carbon build up on the intake valves. Only way to clean is run Seafoam thru the intake. Smoked for over two minutes but so smooth now.

If by " Smoked for over two minutes" you mean after you let it soak and started the car up and it smoked for over two minutes that that is pretty damn clean. If it was smoking while you were driving it afterwords for two minutes that's a bit better. Ive seen plenty of videos of older cars getting seafoamed and after a trip down the street you literally can not see anything because of all the smoke. Hell I've seen some do that just from idling in the driveway before driving it..

Or you coulda just told him>>>> finda a vaccum line that feeds into the whole intake manifold just usa a piece of vaccum hose let the engine idle and put the seafoam into the hose very slowly. Simple as that. Better way would be getta buddy and have em idle the car at 1500-2000 rpm.

Haz l33t wheelz.
Eh, i used to post the links. then 5 minutes later there would be another thread with the exact same question. It kind of gets old after a while. People post the information for a reason, and there is a search button for a reason as well.

iv seafoamed mine with no issues. but didnt even smoke that much and sounded bad when i took the vac line off the intake manifold. I feel like i didnt do it right therefore i dont think it even did anything. Would like to do it again, if some1 proves that it is really bad for our motors then I wont, but i dont see why it would be

where did you put it? i took off teh vac line on the intake manifold and poured a bit in the rubber hose, is that how you do it? pour a bit while idling, reconnect, let it sit, then run it and rev the **** out of it
