Damn that's a monster turbo, making me seriously consider getting a solstice or sky as my second car once my cobalt is done

very true, the back has enough room for a gym bag and a bottle of liqour, and the interior, well it's so small I can't turn the steering wheel without going hand over hand because my knee's hit.

Lol because Racaras?

If I got one it wouldn't be a DD, that's what the balt is for. Having a RWD lnf is very tempting and I could live out my dream of having a lsj and lnf(can't get a lnf cobalt because my second car WILL be RWD....)

Sorry but this has about as much chance as Antonio's (sky888) car does of actually running. I think he's been building his for 3 years or so, I'll check back here in 2017 and see how yours is going.

this old loser is still alive?

geeez....all he does is hate on people. No wonder the cobalt crowd hates him.

all he wants is to be adored....yet cries on people...when he gets bullied away.

That's why you get banned at kappa performance....lol

if V8this want to do this 1000hp build...let him do it. At least he has aspirations and thinks outside the box.

Yeah, my build takes 3 years...so what? I don't have the money all the time...and have to prioritize where it will go. If I have the money, it will be done in a year. But I dont.

so if I were you, just keep your stupid opinions to yourself. Nobody wana hear them.

If you have nothing good to contribute.........just stay away, LOSER!
stop trashing his thread, and be respectful

THANKS ALLOT SKY888

UPDATES FOR TODAY, A BIG BOX OF VIBRANT TUBING FOR MY TURBO MANIFOLD SHOWED UP TODAY, AND THE 4" U/J BEND IS DAMN HUGE! I HAD ORDERED TUBING FOR 1.5" PRIMARY RUNNERS BUT LOOKING AT THE VIBRANT ECOTEC EXHAUST MANIFOLD FLANGE I MIGHT HAVE TO GO BIGGER. WE WILL SEE.

AND I GOT MY CREDIT FOR THE STAGE 1 CAMS I RETURNED TO ZZP, SO I ORDERED CONNECTING RODS, ROD BEARINGS, MAIN BEARINGS, AND 80LB INJECTORS FOR MY DD, AND AN LSJ 6 RIB CRANK PULLEY SO I CAN RETAIN THE FULL 6RIB DRIVE SYSTEM ON MY M62/L61/LSJ BUILD.

aight Zach! thanks!

I'm excited for your build. Hopefully, you can reach your goals.

I'm personally a bit cautious about my build. Not sure if 800hp is even achiavable with my k1 rods. I don't want to bend a rod..that will cause another engine re-build. I have no more $$$ to do that. I'll probably just shoot for a solid 600whp..and I'll be happy. Then if you achieve your 1000hp goal (even if we have different rods/and components)......I'll still probably boost up a lil bit more...lol

Yeah. I want to put down the record but after I'll probably turn it down. With a few choice races with the local $hit talkers first to shut them up.

You should return that 304 thin wall tubing its not going to last if that's what your making a manifold from

I've been looking for a place to get somEthing thicker but it's not been an easy task. I don't want to use schedule pipe because I'll end up with a million pieces. I'm also quite sure I'll end up changing the manifold once or twice.

Is there a big market over there for parts? Or do you get raped with shipping charges?

I kinda agree with Omiotek in regards to using 304 ss for your manifold.

I personally use 321 ss for my manifold. It will manage heat better compared to 304...and will be less prone to cracking

It is a bit more expensive than 304, but 321 is worth it.

this is what BTF created using 321 ss for my compound manifold

try Find Custom Exhaust, Header Collectors, Race Mufflers & More | Burns Stainless

they offer both 304 and 321 ss
