Vaccuum Lines

I previously had an external wastegate turbo and there were no vaccuum lines connecting the turbo to the wastegate and manual boost controller. Can I do the same with my new turbo and just put an oil restrictor on the turbo instead of the vacuum line??? And there is a vaccuum line running from my boost controller to my intercooler piping also Will that work ? And im getting a tune rite after installation.
