What did you use to seal it? Mine is the same way, messed it up installing it about a year ago. Couldn't find that same size o ring. Mine seams to run fine though, but would like to fix it.

Thought it might be a good time to give this link a bump: How to Service your Forge BPV - Mazdaspeed Forums.
Someone shared this a while back; may have been Wangspeed. I followed the directions with the synthetic I had on hand, especially the area between the (outside) o-rings as instructed. Result: Better response/drivability and a very AUDIBLE "hiss" whenever I let off the gas even with stock intake.
Recently I'm getting an occaisional hesitation and not hearing the valve as much; gonna double check the viscosity of what I used and re-lube. Probably check that o-ring as well,lol.




Regarding that o-ring: check out post #7 in the link(Forge hooked him up)

You just unplug the actual sensor. If you disconnected the line you would have a manifold leak.
