What is the best way to limit boost spikes?

What is the best way to limit boost spikes?

I get boost spikes up to like 27 psi. What is the best way to limit that?

One of the easiest ways to control it is go into Torque Management>General>Max Air Load Torque..

Try smoothing out the ramp in a bit to hit full boost by 4-4.5k so it looks something like this..

Also make sure under Torque Managment>Turbocharger that your Pressure Limit isn't set too high. Also double check your DAL's and make sure that they are lower in the lower rpm range, and increase with rpm in the 90-100% areas and not the other ay around. Now this all won't COMPLETELY get rid of any and all spikes, but it will diminish the chance of the dangerous lower rpm/high load spikes.
