I just keep 6 5 gallon jugs, makes filling up easier, unless your gonna go full e85 then mixtures don't matter

Out of curiosity, how long can we store E85? Does it need "Stabil" like regular gas does for extended storage times? I was thinking about having 20 gals or so in the garage for emergency use when I make the switch in the Spring.

Not sure on that. I know if I got a 55 gallon drum it would be ok with how long it would sit. It doesn't last as long as gas I don't think.

So do you think a sealed drum would be ok? I have been searching for a couple weeks without a defininite answer.

I wonder if you could purge the head space in the drum or container with nitrogen?

Also, where do you get 55 gal drums?

Just FYI, I'm running only GMS1 sensors and HP tune -23lbs of boost with 93octane and am right at a stable 295Whp , so I dont see why anyone could'nt make the 300mark easily with just a full exhaust and even just a DP , intercooler.. I dont even think you need the intake to be honest.

In all honesty ethanol when put into the drum will have some condensation in it because it will have oxygen in it. So I think it can. Will it? Possibly.

E85 isn't like normal fuel so I thought maybe it acts differently. Does a bottle of vodka go bad if it sits?

I'm going to the closest sunoco 100 station and stocking up on 100 octane next year. Closest e85 station is 120 miles away so might as well stock up on something that won't collect moisture as badly and you can put fuel stabilizer in it.

Because first off Meth is a Lil more unreliable since there is a ton of parts that can fail. If you think you can keep up with the system Meth is fine but its somthing you have to do.....always be aware of what's going on.. also............... **** vodka lol.

E10 Ethanol: Recommended engine precautions

E10 is 90-100 days because of the ethanol. So in theory E85 may have even a shorter shelf life.
