Question what's causing my car to flutter?

Well after dropping the thread with the ghetto rig idea, I started to notice fluttering taking place with my stock bpv. I haven't done any mods or have the Dejon spring in it. If I rev my engine at 3000 to 5000RPMs nothing, but when it starts to decelerates after 3000 down to 2000 RPMS I begin the hear some fluttering. Is this normal for all who have intakes with no aftermarket bov's or should I get this checked out by the dealer? My car got only 5700 miles in it.

I'm thinking it has to do with the stock bpv, but I'm unsure because I haven't took it apart.

If u have an intake u will hear a little flutter just because the intake is more open but if it's bad bad I say bov issue. Put your stock intakes on and see if u can here a flutter

its probably got to do with the intake because of sound traveling so fast inside. its never happend to me when I had my stock intake for awhile, until I put on the intake. so I'm just growing paranoid over nothing because I heard about the stock bpv fluttering issues on these forums. I know it doesn't sound like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c97hKkihKl4 because he is accelarting while the fluttering occurs. Mine only does it if I slowly accelerate from 2000-3000 rpms and the flutter ends only in neutral. Just thinking the stock bpv isn't open all the way. I'm hitting 20-22psi with this intake on, just don't know why it likes to do that.

its not the intake, its the bpv. Kevin I'm telling you the truth, my sh*t was acting up when I was driving to drop off some job applications. My car didn't want to boost at all. I was only pushing 5psi when I wanted to push 20psi to leave traffic behind in full throttle, the flutter occurred at the same time loudly.

well check your damn BPV. its 3 bolts. see if the rubber is torn, if not, reinstall and get over it. I think the flutter is a combination of the itnake and tune. I have same intake and no flutter, but im running an external BOV. I cant help ya with this one, just check what you think it is and see if thats the problem, get off the forums and go fix it dude. if not bring it to the dealer.

So you noticed the noise after the intake? Then it's the intake

No, I noticed the noise when I was driving and hitting 1st to 2nd gear. My psi dropped from 22 to 5psi and kept fluttering during.

i would agree but the airbox is so damn quiet that if the problem was occuring with the airbox it would be amplified with the intake

The result would probably be the same if I install the stock airbox back on. I never had the issue since I installed the intake for the first 1000 miles. My boost levels were normal at the time, until today my car said, "no soup for you!" and decided to flutter as a result I lost my boost level going from 22psi down to 5psi.
