Whining noise when I slow down

So lately the car has been running find. For a few months now, I hear a low pitch "whining down" noise from the engine. It became more noticeable once I put my charge pipes on. I figure metal is not the best thing to use to stop noises coming from the engine.

Anyways, the car runs fine and spools up nicely. Just trying to figure out this noise since it only happens when I slow down. My assumption is maybe its the turbo adjusting itself to lower rpm's.

Any ideas.....

Its the tranny.

Change transmission oil if you want too. It will help more than likely.

O ok. This does makes since. I could change the transmission fluid but it's not necessary at this point. Thanks for answering the questions guys.
