Yea ive been thinking about getting an LNF and ive heard that with not too many monds they can be over 300 whp. So i just wanted to see what it took to get there and what mods make what kinda power. My only concern with the car would be modding and still keeping the factory warranty.

How is it that most people gain like 60 whp from tuning the car and uping boost to 20?! Did GM just really detune that car or something?!

You are ramming in approx 18% more air than stock hence the 50 whp plus (18%) gains that are possible. Also the car is silly lean stock just richening the A/F up some and adding a few degrees of timing my car went from 253 whp stock to 269 whp no change in the boost tables. Most of the power comes when you ask for more airflow though that is where the last 35-40 whp comes from.

Damn. What do you have done to your car. Highest numbers I have ever seen for an LSJ assuming you are still on the stock Eaton not a twin screw. Do you have nitrous? It is Weird how much more torque the turbos make at that whp level too. I guess that is due to the different designs and parasitic loss from the supercharger.

I have a coupe. There quite a few sedans on here though. RBC, bowtietillidie, and there are many others with sedans. I did not have a choice because no sedan in 08 only 09.

Thanks man, why so rich, my car started losing power when we pushed the A/F below 12.5 or so so we left it at there or a little leaner. I guess better safe than sorry just watch your cat converter it will run hotter the richer you are. It reacts with all the extra nitric oxides and other waste products in the exhaust gas and those reactions produce all that extra heat. That is why the car does that funny high idle cat warmup thing everytime you cold start it to warm the cats up faster it injects fuel on the compression stroke to richen the mixture up and heat the cat up faster. Just something to keep an eye on.
