Wideband...
Wideband...
I was digging through my shed and came across a Home built Narrow band AFR Meter i used back in the day to tune my Daytona Shelby. It worked good with a bleeder to go from factory 12 to 18psi. Well it got me thinking..... Our cars have a Wideband in them factory right? So can't we splice into the line with a Wide band gauge then save the cost of a Wideband o2 sensor and welding our exhaust?
Narrowband sensors have a voltage output, widebands dont. A wideband controller takes all the outputs from the wideband sensor and turn's it into a readable signal, which is basically what our ecm is doing. You're going to need either a aeroforce/dashhawk/dashdaq to read the wideband through obd2.
