wierd sound from rear

wierd sound from rear
any one help me i got a wierd sound in the rear but no CEL. i think its coming from the fuel pump in the rear not sure though. . . please help

it sounds like a winding noise kinda but it only really come on when im sittin still. . . well thats the only time i really can hear it lol

i was gonna say if it sounds like some one is knocking on your rear bumper after you shutdown the car its the fuel pump which is normal but scratch that you said whineding.

maybe its the fuel pump. does it sould like when u turn the key to on, but dont start it? like the fuel pump primeing?
