Moved to 2.0 LNF Engine Tech... Please read this: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/announcement.php?f=68

Pros:
*1-3 WHP Gain
*Save $30-60 vs buying catted

Cons:
*Makes car much louder
*Failed emissions
*Sounds like poopoo

IMO the gains aren't worth the hassle, perhaps you should look into an electric cutout instead..

if you live in ca dont do it gains arent enough for the expence when they bust yer *****. not to mention a new law passed as of jan 1 this year and any vehicle registered in california if getting a replacement catalyst u must use a specific a.m. per vehicle. i believe magnaflow has the list of specific cats for vehicles in production. although many are not checkin this in smog yet i garuntee shortly they will bust out the stick and put it right up your pooper if ur not using the correct one. if out of state put parts that improve flow but do not ruin emissions and as long as you can prove it most states other than ca will be prety lenient.
