2009 Cobalt SS Turbo - 506whp BorgWarner 256et, zzp cams
If the ad isn't up then here is what his ad says copy and pasted:
I am regretfully selling my 2009 Cobalt SS Turbo to help pay for my wedding. There has been a lot invested in the car to make it what it is today. Even coming from nitrous/turbo v8 cars I have really grown to love this car. Even while making 500hp it is smooth and complacent to own in the city, unlike my modded v8 cars with big cams. Not to mention modding/fixing this car is so much cheaper than any corvette/mustang/camaro I have owned. I have tried to find a way around selling the car but unfortunately it has to go.
This is an all options car from the factory:
Sunroof
RPD - Digital display that shows everything from boost, cam angle, A/F ratio, to outside temps and battery voltage.
High rise spoiler
LSD - G85 (This is a big option for cornering and traction and one of the most important options when considering buying any cobalt ss)
Pioneer sound system
Sirius XM
USB input
Bluetooth
The car was stock up to 32,000 miles and then I added the following list over the course of a month:
Engine/Performance:
ZZP S256et Borg Warner Turbo - .55ar
ZZP Stage 1 cams w/larger fuel lobe
ZZP 82# valve springs with titanium retainers
ZZP Intercooler
Charge Piping
SRI intake
ZZP catless downpipe
MPx cat back exhaust
TWM shifter
Exedy Hyper single clutch (can't handle the power without a serious clutch)
50mm Bypass valve
Vent to atmosphere wastegate
ZZP stainless exhaust manifold
Manual Boost controller - you can set your boost level for as little or much as you want
Custom Tune (my tuner is amazing and I will give you his info if you want to knock it back down to 93 octane)
Exterior -
18x9.5 wheels with 5,000 mile old tires
ARK GT-F lowering springs
The car will also come with the stock turbo and accessories, if you wanted you could sell the current turbo set up and cams for quite a gain. The turbo manifold that is on the car now also allows you to change to any aftermarket turbo of your choosing.
So the big question for a lot of people is, "Is it fast?". True 500+whp doesn't sound like a lot, but considering the car weighed less than 2800lbs on the scale means the 500whp goes a lot further than you think. For reference I have linked a very similar car below:
Exhaust Sound:
475whp setting (27psi) vs Supercharged C5 and modded GTR (551whp):
The car will surprise a lot of people and is very unassuming due to how quiet it is when normally driving. Although with the vent to atmosphere wastegate, people are left wondering what just happened as the car does get rowdy under boost.
Would this Cobalt be considered one of the elite? :P

Was wondering whre he has been.... A lot of the big name players have been falling out of the Cobalt scene. Ryansalazan, fasterisbetter, Ford, TeamSS, Brant, Myself... Wonder what's been going on lately.
wish i could keep it as a DD but that would mean waiting longer for my dream car.
missed a great deal a month ago and will have to wait for another one OR put a nice downpayment on a new SRT when the 50th anniversary edition comes out.
