You can get a 6258ZFR but it'll just spool faster the 6758 spools fast enough I've heard of 26psi at around 2800-2900rpm

Gotta remember the ZFR is good to about 400 whp on pump, if that. E85 will put it to mid 400's. you have to be careful with the fast spool and 3rd gear

You should be doing that regardless of the turbo. I don't romp on mine under 3k in any gear.

Huh? What turbo vs zfr? A wr3? That doesn't make sense. Its the same turbo but different exhaust housing to allow a different type of spool.

Just different exhaust housing.

Third gear in the car can break whenever it wants. I barely did any pulls below 3500 and when mine broke, it broke at 4200rpms. Right after full spool lol.

OP i too looked into this awhile back. Blazin is correct they are the same turbo. The new WR3 is EFR based as where the old WR3 was PTE based. The differences between the 2 (according to Pwerks) is they port and ceramic coat their exhaust housing from the get go, hence the price difference.

i wish the new ZFR would be out, id sell mine to get it right now lol. I run 410hp/374tq ( ramped atm ), its a beast on the road, absolutely love it. Building motor first i guess. My goal is 450whp on pump.

There's a new ZFR? Are they making the 71somethingsomething into a ZFR? I didn't think they were going to do that because there wasn't nearly enough interest.

7163 - but it wont be for a while - im guessing next year sometime, if they do it. Nothing has been confirmed that i am aware of. A true 500whp turbo would be nice bolt on. I could always sell my zfr for like $1500 and buy a S256et setup i guess.
