So, sorry, $1680 roughly. That's also assuming that you are able to find good deals on all of those items. No need to buy new on everything but if you did buy new it would still be less than $2k for a solid 425-450whp car

Edit: And all of those prices are prices that I've seen listed on this site for the used items.
Don't forget a coldside pipe as well!

There was a guy selling a used stainless manifold on here for $200 a while back but it got snatched up quick lol.

I think ZZPs mani is only $300 though correct?

From what I've read I was under the assumption our stock elbow would bolt right up to the S256 if you bought the 4 bolt version instead of the vband version

i would assume that even if it does bolt up the downpipe will still need some sort of modifcation as the turbos in a different place.

the zzp downpipe has the vpand elbow welded into it as a 1-peice because of the new turbo location

thats pretty much how every turbo kit works on these cars so far. by the time its said and done your better off just buying the companies downpipe and calling it a day. it will make life easier for you.

Hmm that's impressive but going over the 450 mark on stock internals besides valve springs scares me..

I think the s256et is the perfect turbo. With a .55 AR it spools practically like the s252 and u can make 410sae reliably. If u want to get freaky, up the boost to the low 30s with e85 and get 550whp with incredibly quick spool.

Personally I'd rather have the vband setup but either way would work.

when i say exhaust i mean downpipe specifically since you have the external gate on the turbo what would you do as far as getting a dump tube

hmm i'm thinking about it more and trying to piece together a kit rather than buy the 20g or 2871 since it would only be a few dollars more, its just the exhaust thats tripping me up

yeah dump tubes arent expensive.....realistically you should know what your doing and what you will need. if you dont have a clue by the kit. piecing one together is for someone who knows what they do and dont need.

I think the pure fact that the 256 is a superior turbo should keep you away from the 20g.

To the 20g. To the BNR, I think they are pretty close to being equal. 256 might be able to squeeze out more though

i know whats needed for a turbo kit, i just don't know if i want to run a open dump or recirculating
i was gonna buy that manifold from monograt but by the time i got him to check the flange someone already sent him cash

but its really down to the 28 vs 256, but then i'm just thinking of going full custom and getting a gtx 30

I was going full custom I would go 30r or 35r and call it a day but I think a built block would be required lol

Lol @ those who think the bnr is equal to the s256et. Clearly u need an education. Zzp got 425whp sae on the bnr @ 25psi with ethanol and stated that the turbo was pretty close to max. They got 411 sae on pump gas from the s256et at the same boost level as the bnr. 25psi is just getting started for the s256et. Scythe_Snake put almost 600whp down on a stock motor with the s256et.
