zzp bov?

Just installed the bov and it not opening at low boost. I have it hooked up strait to intake manifold. Does the vac tank need to be installed back on?

You could always try the solenoid method and see if it works.
It doesn't look like it is. And tried that didn't work. I don't have the vacuum tank to try that.

Just run the manifold vacuum to the solenoid nipple pointing to the front of your car on the wastegate solenoid. (that went to vacuum tank)

Then use the wastegate solenoid vacuum line that point towards the passenger side that went to your stock BPV and hook it up to your BOV.

Try that out and see if you can get the bov to vent, you can set your bov spring pressure super light also as the wastegate solenoid will keep the BOV shut at idle.

If it won't blow off with the BOV set to light spring pressure, I would get ahold of ZZP and find out whats up.
Tried that didn't work.

The wastegate solenoid is located on the turbo itself, not on the intake manifold. The "black box on the intake mani" is the BPV solenoid..

You feel better now?

Yes the one on the manifold is called the BPV solenoid not wastegate solenoid, sorry to all the people I confused when I referred to the "black box on the intake manifold" or "solenoid on the intake" as a wastegate solenoid. /wrist

wow.. settle down there little fella. I didn't mean to insult your delicate ego by simply clearing up the correct name of what something is actually called when that is what you were doing to iboost when he refered to it as "the black box on the intake mani" in the first place. I hadn't realized you were such a delicate little flower..

Oh and yes.. NOW I feel better..

That was settled down , I edited my post about 3 times before that.

I actually thought that was pretty civilized compared to what I edited the 3 times before. I gave you the benefit of the doubt

Why would you install a BOV? There is no performance gain to be realized by installing an aftermarket BOV...

Tial might be great but this is my dd and don't want high dollar parts on it. Then I more of a target to have the car stolen.

Ok so the vacuum line from the stock bpv should connect to the nipple on the BOV. Is your MAF before or after the BOV? I had better luck relocating the MAF to the cold side pipe just before the throttle body.

OP... Post up pictures of the Vacuum solenoid on the manifold to show us your routing of the vacuum lines... I'm sorry but one sentence in the original post does not clarify what is going on enough a video might help as well.

It is normal for the BOV to surge a little below... say 5psi depending on your setup. It won't open at all if you are simply revving it in neutral or with the clutch in, the wastegate vents around the turbo so you experience minimal engine loads if I recall correctly.
