ZZP Hot Side Problem
I installed my ZZP hot side today and I ran into the problem of not being able to secure it properly so that it's not jumping around in the engine bay during boost. Anyone else have this problem? It seems as if the A/C line is blocking me from being able to secure it.

Were they supposed to supply a bolt for that mounting bracket? I've seen pictures of their ZZP hot side installed and all of them have a different bolt from the stock one. If I had a longer bolt then it would be easy to mount, but the stock bolt is short.

Must be an issue with the upgraded couplers. Go ahead and hack up the stock pipe to get those couplers off and try those. If they work, get your money back for the aftermarket couplers, then buy another stock pipe off of somebody in the Classifieds section for 30 bucks, if you feel like you need it.

If you bought couplers, you probably have to shorten the upper coupler. Make it the same length as the stock one and it will work. We order them long so they can be used with turbo swaps as well.

I doesn't matter how short the couplers are. The charge pipe doesn't even come close to the mounting position with the A/C line there. I tried mounting it with the couplers disconnected from the charge pipe.

Pull the pipe mount it to the bolt hole and see where you are at. If the couplers aren't even remotely close there there an issue with the bracket on hthe pipe.

I feel your pain. Just went through something VERY similar this weekend with an I/C install...
Lowes carries rubber spacers and longer bolts. I would do that. Don't let that line rest or touch the pipe as it could rub and cause problems later.

Then the AC line is not where it is supposed to be. Start there.
