ZZP LNF side exit exhaust interest thread

Hello everyone,

This is a gauging interest thread for ZZP to possibly make a side exit exhaust for the 2008-2010 Cobalt SS with the LNF engine. If enough interest is shown ZZP will offer a quality piece for the community. Please post up in this thread I your interested. Thanks.

-Nate

That sounds like a good idea, I would like that, but what would we do for the hole in the rear bumper?

INTERSETED!

But some suggestions, maybe?

A nice looking tip?
Have it exit out the passenger side?
Options for just straight pipe, resonator and/or mufflers?

AND...

I have no idea how it would sound and if fitment is even possible, but a Dual Side Exit... out both passenger AND driver sides

I'll be happy with any type of side exit from ZZP, though.

If they can beat Jannetty in price I'd be interested when money allows.

True, Jannetty already has a side exit out for $199 which is a good price IMO

So if they can beat that price and have it done in the near future I'd be down

Near future = May

Well if you think 200 is a bit expensive then it's only gonna go up because I'm sure ZZP is gonna use stainless

Then ill just make my own lol

All it is, is a 45* bend welded to some straight pipe. Thats $60 at summit. All u need is a flange (about $20) and someone to weld it (probably another $20).

So just from that price alone, theres no reason a company needs to make a 100% profit on something. And the company gets those parts cheaper, so more than 100% profit.

Just my 2 cents

It's $200 for aluminized steel not stainless that's the issue I have.

dual side exit? no.. this isn't a ricer Neon.. but a passenger Side exit would be nic(er) maybe some kind of resonator as I opted not to get the Jannetty side exhaust from all the statements bout the drone in the cabin.. a nice tip would be nice tho

Also... Everybody doesn't buy things just because of a name.. so if the Jannetty side exhaust is $100 cheaper than the ZZP... 75% of people that buy side exhausts (as oppose to makin one themselves...)are still gonna get the Jennety... so a reasonable price would help also

Honestly I would still buy from ZZP even if their product is a lil more expensive. They have always been good to me, so I have no problem paying a lil extra to know I am not gonna screwed over like i was with another company on here.

I was just curious as to how something like that would sound and work. I guess I'm still stuck in my GTO days where the offered dual side exit exhaust was just plain bad-ass!

But yes, this is a little 2.0 4-banger and even turbo'd it might sound like crap.

And if ZZP offers a 304 stainless for around $200 I'd probably buy that instead of Jennety. I see the Jennety side exit floating around the FS section and I've always been tempted to buy it. I'm glad I've waited because now I can possibly see what ZZP offers. It's not just the name, it's another option other than Jennety... for me anyway. If another company came out with a side exit, I'd be excited to see that too and weigh out the options on who to buy from.

It all comes down to value and quality for dollar. I'll pay a little more for something I know will always last and look good. (Hence why I ask for a decent tip)

It just so happens ZZP makes and sells everything I want at a quality I'd expect. I kinda wish I held out and bought stuff from them earlier but I was being "conservative" with my funds at the time.

But I digress.

ZZP Side Exit Exhaust... yes please.

I'm sure the guys over at ZZP could make a side exit within an hour and have it on the car with a vid...
