1. I thought you were selling your car
2. I think is looks hack, You have the rocker and from one side is a 3" exhaust pipe randomly.
But what do I know I think 80% of the things Cobalts owners do are hack/Rice-ish.

Catless Dp, E-cutout, stock exhaust or a different turbo friendly muffler like magnaflow or something right after the dp and then shed the rest of the stock exhaust to save weight and have the best of both worlds. You can get a reputable E cutout for 199 with the cutout and free shipping. I am sure zzp could add an e cutout version to their down pipes quite easily.
open downpipe dumping under the car sounds pretty terrible and resonates like a beach... e-cutouts fail too... thats just a fact of life, those small electric motors do NOT like the heat.

anyways, a Resonated passenger side exit would be good for a number of reason. the "i want to lay frame on my cobalt for some reason" guys could slam their car and make it go whoooopah, the racers would drop some weight, the guys like me who are being a cheapass but still think it'd sound cool if it didnt resonate like a **** would be happy too...

The main reason for the cut-out is power, not sound, if you are worried about sound and not performance why even bother with a side exit? Yes E cutouts fail, but not because of heat, they are designed for exhaust....so that being said, heat is a constant. They fail when people don't know how to use them properly. Ie, opening and closing them repeatedly and holding the button too long, there by burning the motor up. Luckly for the kids out there who abuse there new "toys" to much some manufactures offer 4 year warranties (DMH).
