I love how everyone used to bitch that GM only had a 3/36 warranty and it wasn't long enough. Now that they extended the warranty, people bitch that it doesn't cover anything. If you didn't break it because of doing something stupid, then GM will cover it. If the dealer won't play ball, then find another dealer. That simple.

Screw that, if my DIC stops working you'll see my ass going in for warranty coverage.

...now, if I blew a piston, screw that warranty ****. I'm building my engine. It would probably be my fault anyway.

No offence bro.....but you have a very loaded story.....involving NON-GM-STAGE aftermarket parts.....and a shitty dealership.

Running around saying the sky is falling on GM stage kits because 1 person caught 1 shitty dealership, when your car has other aftermarket parts that they are relating to the issue is pretty weaksauce.

Id love to see a single instance of all these many people getting denied claims on cobalt ss/sc stage kits where aftermarket parts havent been in the mix.

I don't necessarily agree with your comment. The reason dealers are so precautious about vehicles with modification is because of the ******** that break their **** by doing something stupid and then putting it back to stock to get it fixed under warranty. That's just messed up...

$1000? Get rid of the charger and buy a turbo kit like this guy did:

I'm not going to argue here, but a Corsa Exhaust, Injen Intake, CM clutch, and GMPP Stage 2 should not void my warranty pal when my headgasket blows. If think for one minute I didn't fight it until the death you're wrong. If you read a lot of the posts on here about who is getting what fixed under warranty, you'll find people with lesser mods getting hosed as well. The dealerhsip didn't care about the intake or exhaust either. It was "The aftermarket clutch changed the intended purpose of the car." So then tell me how an clutch blows a headgasket. Got no answer there, so tell me how I didn't get hosed! Yes the dealership sucked, but it was the GM reps that ultimately decided to not repair the car not the dealership.

I'm just trying to give people a heads up since all GM has to do is say "Abuse" and your done. End of story. Sorry to invade the thread.
