**** this

Alright so after a long while trying to get my car to work, It seems as if i have to return it back to stock or the engine will "explode" I just finished getting new sensors for the TB and throttle, a Brand new TB ect ect.

Heres a little background information:

way back when i got the zzp stage 3 kit. installed it no problem just had alittle bit of a rough idle. common problem when upgrading right? so after a while i got bored and needed some more power. got all my mods and then a Trifecta tune. (the tune was on my stock pcm, we think the zzp one was locked) So after that my TB went, it was running at 31% instead of 7-8%. Had to get a new TB and what not. Found out that it "could" have been caused because of the injectors. I Dont think 60lb injectors would cause a TB to go. Anyways. I had to put my zzp pcm back in after getting my stock one tuned. Now im getting a Misfire code. put brand new sparkplugs in them gapped at .035ish? Since my dad sometimes drives it, he brought it to the stealership and this is where the mechanic said the engine would "blow" if i dont take the mods off.

long story short. Can 60lb injecorts 2.8 pully and a zzp or trifecta tune cause any of this. ( the misfire and rough idle to the point where its reving from 500-2000)??

any kind of help would be awesome. thanks guys

Your injector scaling is off... or your maf is off... either way it shouldn't idle bad. Hell my LSJ with 60's idled smoother than stock

Your best bet is to get a good tune from some one that realy knows how to tune with HPTuners.

well as of right now unless i find someone to do this within the next few days my parents will be taking the car to the dealership to revert it back to stock. and well since my ecu is tuned for my mods, it'll just end up being a big waste of time and money.

hopefully i can get this done correctly.

would a proper re-tune (still a trifecta tune) be able to fix this?

Yes it should fix it. Trifecta should have gotten it right the first time around. Did you do the logging and retunes through them? I would say if there is someone with hptuners near you go that route because its nice having someone do it to the car while they are there. Seems to be quicker and easier.

This is something I could easily fix. Rates are in my signature + gas. Pm me if you would like to discuss this further. All you need is a proper tune, one that is NOT currently on the car
