02 sensor

I just had a nut welded on my header so that I can install my wide band but there isn't enough clearance for it to fit once the header is reinstalled. Can I run without my front 02 sensor and just plug that hole or do I have to have them weld on another nut elsewhere?

You need to weld one on some where else. You need the front on for the car to run correctly ....

its best to put it about 18" from the head. if you still have the cat on your car, put it in just before the cat on the downpipe. just make sure you get it welded between the 10 and 2 oclock position. having the sensor bellow that could cause the sensor to fill up with moisture or unburnt fuel and causing odd readings.
