Did some searching, couldn't find much. Back before I blew #4 and converted to turbo, a small shop that I was using, eliminated my secondary 02 sensor, and claimed it wasn't needed as long as you have a primary and a wideband.

Well now i'm going for a tune next monday and the car is throwing a P0141 code, which I believe is the secondary 02 sensor. Do I need a secondary 02 sensor? Can they shut it off via hptuners?

I'm running catless right now. If I have to go out and buy one I will, its not that big of a deal, but I need to get this figured out before next monday.

No you don't need the secondary o2 sensor all it does is monitor if the cat is working properly. Yes you can have the code disabled with hpt. I had my rear o2 codes disabled when I got tuned
